Projects I'm Currently Working On
This project, named "scene object" aims to reflect my practice of scenography by questioning the theatrical space and the perception of what is on stage, what constitutes performance, and what does not, according to the eyes of the spectators and the conventions. By referencing still life and the theater environment, the elements placed on the red drapes, all blue, are objects that are directly assimilated as legitimate to be represented, to be in the theatrical space; they form a space-time that is specific to them. Meanwhile, the yellow apple gives the impression of not belonging, as it comes from the real world. On the right, apples from the real world are accumulated, among them a blue apple. Why does this particular apple seem to belong on stage? I want to play with the spectators' perception of the interior and exterior of the theatrical space.
